§ 2-24. Chairman; duties; Acting Chairman.

(a)

A Chairman shall be elected annually by majority vote of the Planning and Zoning Board and shall serve for the calendar year and until his successor is elected. He shall:

(1)

Preside at all meetings and regulate their conduct;

(2)

Issue the call for all meetings;

(3)

Prepare and submit all reports required by law; and,

(4)

Make and sign all purchase orders for expenditures by the Board.

(b)

If the Chairman shall be absent from a meeting, the senior member in point of service shall be Acting Chairman.
