§ 2-31. Plot plans; specifications.

  • (a)

    Plot plans shall be drawn to scale accurately showing lot dimensions, area, yard dimensions, location and size of all existing and proposed buildings on the property, the existing and intended uses of each building or part of a building, the number of families or housekeeping units the buildings are designed to accommodate, and such other information as may be necessary to clearly define the question involved.

    (b)

    All dimensions and areas shown on plot plans relating to the location of buildings and structures on the lot and the location and size of the lot shall be based on an actual survey by a duly licensed Civil Engineer or Surveyor, as is required by the Division of Buildings prior to issuance of building permits.

    (c)

    Plot plans accompanying applications pertaining to gasoline filling stations, garages, auto showrooms and parking lots, in addition to giving location of building or buildings shall also include the location of any pumps and shall show height and size of signs in addition to location, height and intensity of lights, planting, curbs, sidewalks, street lines, exits and entrances, traffic lights, utility poles, catch basins and manholes.
