§ 2-43. Committee organization.

Within thirty (30) days after the appointment of members of the Committee by the Representative Town Meeting the first Selectman shall call the first meeting of the Committee. At the meeting the Committee shall elect from its voting members a chairman, a vice-chairman and a clerk. In the absence of the chairman, the vice-chairman shall act for him and have the same powers as the chairman.
