§ 2-44. Meetings; notification; record; quorum.

  • (a)

    The chairman of the Committee may call meetings at any time and upon the request of any three (3) voting members shall call a meeting of the Committee, in each instance giving reasonable personal notice to the members thereof or written notice delivered, or mailed to each by the clerk of the Committee in time to reach his place of residence at least twenty-four (24) hours before the time of such meeting.

    (b)

    The Clerk shall keep a record fully and in detail of the minutes of each meeting of the Committee and of all actions taken at each meeting. The record of each meeting shall be attested by the signatures of the chairman and the clerk and shall be filed with the Clerk within ten (10) days after approval thereof by the Committee and shall thereupon be kept as a permanent record of the Town.

    (c)

    A majority of the voting members of the Committee shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business, but a less number may adjourn to a later date.
